Biosketch:
Born in 9 February 1984 in Benicarlo, Spain. He started university studies in Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2002. He finished his studies in September 2007 after reading the final master thesis focused on the structural and mechanical analysis of trabecular bone from magnetic resonance images. In October 2007 he joined the Department of Radiology of Quiron Valencia Hospital as a Research Engineer in Medical Imaging, position from which he has started to develop his professional career and advanced in research and teaching. In November 2010 he achieved the PhD title with his dissertation "In vivo characterization of morphometric and mechanical trabecular bone from high resolution MR images". His scientific career is focused on research into new methods of imaging biomarkers and medical image processing and its clinical application to diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring of diseases.
In the field of research, he is author of over 15 scientific articles and more than 30 communications to national and international conferences.
